2024 Summer – Become a Host Family

Pre-register to become host family for the Watoto Children’s Choir

We are busy preparing for the Watoto Children’s Choir’s upcoming Asia tour starting in October. We sincerely invite you to join the Watoto children’s journey by hosting a small group of choir members to let them experience the enthusiasm and culture of Hong Kong people up close. In return, you and your family can also witness the transformation of those children’s lives.

A recent interview in the online magazine MamiDaily 親子日常 shows the positive impact that being a host family can have on a family and gives a glimpse of what it is like to be a host family. The article shared the positive impacts that becoming a host family has had on their family, and also provided a glimpse of what it is like to be a host family.

Each host family needs to host 1 African adult and 1-2 African children of the same gender. The hosting period is 8-9 days. Host families need to provide accommodation, meals, and transportation arrangements, and schedule appropriate rest times according to the itinerary. In addition to performances, the choir will also participate in other activities, so pick-up and drop-off times may be adjusted.
